SentinelAir, by Gamlnit

A control tower for your fab floor.

Non-invasive sensors and one live dashboard that show what your cleanroom tools are doing when nobody is watching. Continuous power monitoring is live at RIT today.

What SentinelAir does today

Mid-sized cleanrooms run the same multimillion-dollar machines as the giants, without enterprise monitoring budgets. sentinelAir is built for them: small, non-invasive sensors feeding one dashboard, with nothing to rip out.

Continuous power monitoring on two dry-etch tools, in one live dashboard.

Running at RIT

SentinelAir's pilot at RIT began in August 2026 and is still running, monitoring standby power on two dry-etch tools, with Dr. Kurinec as its first user. The pilot is where the system is being made robust: tested, verified and updated against what the market needs.

  • Installation. Power sensors on two dry-etch tools: an ICP RIE and a Trion Phantom III RIE.
  • Live dashboard. Real-time and standby power, tracked continuously.
  • First user. Dr. Kurinec, at RIT.

On October 27, 2026, the work was presented as a student poster at the IEEE Rochester Joint Chapters Meeting: "Real-Time Power Monitoring of Semiconductor Processes."

The journey so far

sentinelAir is Nitish's spare-time innovation, developed alongside his thesis work, which he successfully defended. What it is today comes from listening first: early conversations with cleanroom managers and field service leads, and customer discovery on the road, and a first booth at RIT Demo Night.

2024

It started in an RIT cleanroom: days in thin film, etching and lithography, nights and weekends building something that keeps continuous watch on the tools.

2025

Nitish's conference journey: first the MIT PSFC conference, then SEMICON West 2025, then ASME IMECE 2025, where he presented his first conference paper and carried out customer discovery for sentinelAir during the trip.

Mar 2026

Concept Award at the 2026 NYBPC FLX Region competition, hosted by St. John Fisher University.

Apr 2026

Second place in a pitch competition at Imagine RIT 2026.

We're taking on early adopters

If your fab or lab wants to know what its tools are doing when nobody is watching, we would like to work with you. Early-adopter pilots are shaped around your floor, and your feedback shapes what sentinelAir becomes.
